The 60 hour Dignitary/Executive Protection Course is the first module in a series of courses designed to prepare individuals for a career in the protection industry. This program is a blend of classroom and hands on instruction. The course culminates in a field training exercise where students will conduct a protective operation and be graded on their ability to appropriately mitigate risk and adapt to dynamic situations. Upon successful completion, the student will be certified by the Association for Professional Security Contractors as a Dignitary Protection Specialist.

- Recognize pre-incident indicators
- Recognize surveillance and intelligence gathering methods
- Have an understanding of technical surveillance and it’s countermeasures

Maritime Anti-Piracy Training
Description
Maritime Security Training The Association for Professional Security Contractor’s (APSC) and Tactical Intelligence International (TII) offer the Armed Vessel Security Officer course. This highly sought after course is taught by former U.S. Navy and Coast Guard Special Operators with decades of combined experience. The training will focus on protecting human and physical assets while on board commercial shipping vessels. TII developed the Armed Vessel Security Officer (AVSO) Course with a specific focus on anti-piracy operations in the Gulf of Aden which is within the Indian Ocean. Their inaugural course was held May 3-5, 2011 in Tampa, Florida, and was attended by security professionals from around the country. The course is four days in length and covers numerous aspects of armed security operations aboard vessels transiting high-threat waters.

Two Day Weapons Selection and Deployment Course
Description
Seasoned protection professionals know, that if you have to draw your weapon the situation just went critical. 99% of a protection professional’s career is spent mitigating threat and creating a safe environment for the protectee ensuring that the deployment of a firearm isn’t necessary.
If that 1% incident should occur, a specialist must be more than just proficient with their firearm. They must be an expert. Every round that comes out of that weapon has lethal and litigious consequences.
Executive Solutions Worldwide in conjunction with the Association for Professional Security Contractors is offering a two day Weapons Selection and Deployment Course. The course addresses types of handguns and long guns available on the market, their proper carry, maintenance, and deployment. Students will be exposed to the various choices in concealable firearms and related equipment including proper positioning on the body for extended daily wear and immediate reaction to a threat. Additional consideration is given to long guns for positioning in vehicles and static security positions.
Students should come to the course mentally and physically prepared to be put into stressful and physically uncomfortable situations in order to provide a level of stress inoculation. During live fire scenarios unconventional shooting positions will be used.
